Ah, to follow the light, shapes and textures in the natural landscape is to fall into a world so beautiful that the time spent is completely restorative. This class will take place in a Central Marin location (weather permitting) with many opportunities for work both close up and with distance. Students sign up for individual Landscape Drawing classes and/or the 4-part series later in the summer. Over the summer we’ll work on reducing views to eliminate overwhelm, finding shortcuts to make textures easier, understanding the light, atmospheric perspective, and much more. Advanced students are welcome to use their own materials following the class in their chosen medium. All levels are welcome and everyone will learn from everyone else.
